APPLICATION PROCESS
Requirements for service:
A diagnosis of Autism
Ability to attend a minimum of 1 daily session, Monday-Friday
The child must have behavior, communication, or social skill needs that can addressed by Aim High Ascent.
Insurance hours approved:
Minimum of 15 hours per week
An additional 15 hours per week for a second daily session

Intake Assessment:
If a family meets the above criteria, an intake assessment will be scheduled with a certified BCBA.
Pre-authorization for assessment hours through their insurance required.
Parent Interview: It’s an information gathering process with your BCBA. Your BCBA will meet with you to identify your child’s needs, strengths and deficits. Your child’s current level of functioning and determine the next steps toward developing the treatment plan.
Client Assessment
Following the parent interview, the BCBA will choose the assessment most appropriate for your child.
Insurance Authorization:
Following the intake assessment, a treatment plan will be developed based on the skills assessed. That treatment plan will then be submitted to the child's insurance provider in order to receive full insurance authorization for the hours requested. Once approved, a start date will be scheduled. Our team will help prepare you and your family for the start date to make the transition as soon as possible.
