PROGRAM MODEL
AGES: 2 - 7
Session Times:
PART TIME HOURS: 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm, 5 days a week
FULL TIME HOURS: 9am - 4PM, 5 days a week
Therapy Philosophy
Naturalistic Intervention:
This model uses incidental teaching to promote specific skills in the context of child-initiated play and
developmentally appropriate activities.
Collaborative Intervention:
Focuses on enhancing the quality of care through clinical and parent collaboration.
Complete Therapy Process
Treatment Planning
Set Treatment goals, hours of service, and location of services
Determine discharge criteria
Reduction of Hours
Upon meeting treatment plan goals, therapy may reduce to a collaborative consult model upon insurance approval
Discharge Criteria
The child will be discharged when the discharge criteria has been met or more appropriate services determined
Transition to Impact
Following the child's 6th Birthday, if services at Aim High are fitting, the child will retain priority on the Impact waiting list.
Cancellation policy:
A minimum of 24 hours in advance.
If available, the client may attend a make-up session in the morning or afternoon of another day.
Caregiver Collaboration:
Collaboration hours will be determined by the insurance company
DAY TO DAY THERAPY
The child's therapist will meet your child here at our center
1:1 therapy will be provided by a Behavior Technician
Parent inclusion: Parents are invited to take part in all therapy sessions
Community Access: Addressing goals in the community on an individual basis as needed
Parent Communication: Notes to parents will be completed daily after each session in Unitus
Parent training and Collaboration: BCBA will set up regular meeting times to review your child’s progress
